Lauren is, first and foremost, a dreamer.
She is also a mother, photographer, co-creator, designer, font geek, historical photo and film lover; wanna-be cinematographer, cross stitcher, fine artist, and people watcher.
Her first camera was a Barbie 110mm film camera that she was only given film for on special occasions as she would use it up very quickly. When she wasn't given film for her favorite camera, a disposable camera was the gift. Lauren would blow through one so fast that her Mother had to give her two or three to make it a "lasting" Christmas present. From there, she taught herself in high school using a Minolta film camera that GE Plastics was going to throw away due to "it not working any longer". They put the lens on backwards. After her Dad remedied that, it was off to the races.
Lauren graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 2009 where she got her BFA in Still Photography. Since then, her life has gone on many amazing journeys where she has met some of the most fantastic people.
Currently, Lauren is the Associate Photographer for an internationally recognized, prominent architectural photography studio based in Columbus, Ohio. The job allows her to meet, and watch, so many people from all different aspects of the country. Visiting each new place and getting to know the stories of those there is one of the greatest joys of her role at the studio.
When Lauren isn't being an Associate Photographer, she doing her favorite job: being a Mom to Jet & Betty. All while dreaming up and creating artwork with her favorite co-creator, her husband Tomi.
